On 27.9.2023, the first workshop of the Institute for Advanced Studies for Ethics of the Sciences took place in Hannover under the direction of Prof. Dr. Silke Schicktanz and Prof. Dr. Nils Hoppe.
To get the participants in the spirit of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Silke Schicktanz welcomed them and introduced the fellows and their respective scientific expertise. Afterwards, the participants worked in smaller groups on specific topics. The participants were thus able to discuss questions of responsible science in different constellations. The scientists present praised the format and agreed that further meetings and workshops should take place at regular intervals.
Afterwards, the Fellows met in beautiful late summer weather for a get-together in the Hanomacke on the Conti Campus opposite.
