The IAS brings together the expertise of outstanding scientists in Lower Saxony in the field of science ethics, integrating law, sociology, politics and economics as well as other disciplines, and creates a platform for joint work. The IAS stands for the collaborative realisation of research and development projects and is committed to the promotion of young scientists and advanced training in the field of scientific ethics. The aim is to further develop, coordinate and carry out internationally competitive research activities in science ethics and to provide a venue for interdisciplinary international cooperation.
